Prophetic Pieces for Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg VA Area
5-6 March 2004 - As documented in the book, Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation, Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce visited the Hampton Roads area of Virginia 5-6 March 2004. They noted the Jamestown, VA connections and also stated, "We called the state our 'Covenant Root State' and dealt with root issues that prevent God's covenant plan for our nation coming forth." Root issues include slavery/racial issues, the mistreatment of Native Americans, and other issues.
1 Dec 2007 – Mark Holcomb spoke the following over Pastors Wade and Lisa Trump of Jamestown Christian Fellowship: “Wells, wells, wells, being opened up… a training center raising up seals… the shovel… digging and digging, deeper and deeper.”
5 Dec 2009 - Jeff Jansen spoke at Greensprings Chapel and said: "You guys have been cultivating an atmosphere and you have hit veins and its gushed, and you go deeper, and you hit a vein. You are about to hit the ‘mother lode.’ Our nation is about to hit the ‘mother lode.’"
5 Dec 2010 - Exactly 1 year later Bob and Bonnie Jones spoke at Greensprings Chapel. A few quotes from that include "... there's an old well here that's been plugged up, and God wants that unplugged.... I feel that this triangle; Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg is a portal. God wants it to be a white (pure) portal……This is an oil well.... God wants you to go deeper to where you hit that oil, that anointing, that it would flow forth like love flowing forth. Like oil spouting out of an oil well, it will be the most valuable thing in these areas."
24 June 2011 - Lou Engle spoke at Greensprings Chapel and said, "You must deal with the ancient roots. If you can break through here and get the root, you get the whole tree."
8 July 2011 - Todd Bentley spoke at Greensprings Chapel and relayed a dream he had with a message that "Revival is coming from the east, the east gate. The womb of America, right here."
14 Nov 2011 - The New York Times ran a half page article on the discovery of the original 1608 Protestant church at Jamestown Island. Pastor Wade Trump of Jamestown Christian Fellowship was quoted in the article as saying, "This church would be a place for Christians from all over the country to see where their roots are. This is really the birthplace of the Judeo-Christian faith in America." Pastor Trump refers to Jamestown Island as the "East Gate of America" and has a 2012 church theme "Open Wells in 2012." Archaeologist at Jamestown Island discovered a well in 2011 located in the southwest corner of the 1608 church (although they believe the well may have been built after the original church structure ceased to exist).
23 February 2012 – Heidi Baker spoke at Greensprings Chapel. She said, “There has been a foundation of prayer in this house. I saw these wells being opened up. I saw these wells being opened up, I saw these wells being opened up. I saw young ones and the old ones worshipping together. People have been praying for 40-50 years. The Lord says “Thank you for not giving up.” You may have felt you gave up but deep down you did not.
Writer’s Comments: Over the past decade, numerous reconciliation services have been held at Jamestown Island within a stone's throw of the 1608 church site. Services have included Christian leaders of African, Jewish, English, and Native American descent with the goal of reconciliation and the expansion of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth, to unplug the oil wells, and let them flow forth, unobstructed, in power.
There is an obvious correlation between what's happening in the natural realm (the uncovering of the original 1608 church, the excavation of old wells, reconciliation meetings and services) and what’s happening in the spiritual realm (a flowing of God's manifest presence out of the "eastern gate" of America to heal, revive, and transform the land for the expansion of the Kingdom of God).
Let’s keep joining together and DIGGING THE WELLS DEEPER until we hit the "mother lode" of God's MANIFEST presence that flows through the “Eastern Gate” and floods our nation with life. As the well begins to gush forth, it’s our responsibility to SUSTAIN the revival so that it will permanently change our nation for generations and generations to come. Our descendants will live in an era of permanent revival and renaissance.
Numbers 21:17-18
Then Israel sang this song:
“Spring up, O well!
All of you sing to it-
The well the leaders sank,
Dug by the nation’s nobles,
By the lawgiver, with their *staves.”
* Staves means:
1) stick or staff
2) any of the shaped strips of wood forming the wall of a barrel, bucket, etc.
The well that was excavated in the location of the 1608 church at Jamestown in the fall of 2011 is described as follows by the archaeologist: “This well, a barrel well, is thus named because the well shaft wall is comprised of several barrels stacked on top of one another, with their tops and bottoms removed.”
In other words, the well at the location of the 1608 church at Jamestown was made of “staves” like the one described in Number 21:18.
