We believe that every Christian is called to demonstrate the love of God by sharing the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

CONSOLIDATE: Encounters & Discovery Groups

We believe that care and attention should be given to all new believers in order to form the character of Christ in them, build up their faith and lay a firm foundation in the Word of God.

DISCIPLE: School of Leaders & Discovery Groups

We believe that every member can be mobilized to minister, to win souls and to disciple other believers and to continually grow in God's Word.

SEND: Chosen Leaders Sent to Establish Works for Christ

We believe that each disciple who has received a Biblical foundation and the character of Christ through the Word and discipleship training will be ready to help reproduce that same Christ-like character in others through Discovery Groups, missions & other ministry opportunities.

PROCLAIM: Television, Discovery Groups and Weekly Church Gatherings

We believe that Jamestown Christian Fellowship must proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord through various creative ministry outlets as the Holy Spirit leads us.

UNITE: Community Events & Prayer Gatherings

We believe that it is good for believers of all Christian churches to dwell together in unity and that as we break down dividing walls we will see the blessing of the Lord over our community and churches.

GATHER: JCF's Place of Worship

We believe that God's desire is to provide a meeting place where believers can celebrate, worship and be educated in His Word. The future goal for Jamestown Christian Fellowship is to build a Worship Center near Jamestown that will exemplify the love and truth of the Word of God at the birthplace of America.

Our Purpose

The purpose of our fellowship is to stay committed to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission of our lord Jesus Christ. "You shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. You shall love thy neighbor as thy self. You shall teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things whatsoever the Lord has commanded." (Mat. 22:37-40; 28:19-20)

We believe that if we continue to teach and implement these Biblical principles, Jamestown Christian Fellowship will always be a balanced and healthy church. Also, the leadership of this church (Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Ministry Leaders, Discovery Group Leaders) are dedicated to serving and supporting its members in this high calling.

Our Commitment

~ On May 5, 2005 descendants from the original people groups that inhabited

Jamestown and its surrounding territory, joined together in the signing of the

Declaration of Dependence on faith in Jesus Christ and the Word of God.

Our commitment is to encourage individuals to encounter God and the power of the Holy Spirit by discovering and studying His Word; encouraging them to come to church and expect God to move in our midst for healings and deliverances: our desire to lead people outside the church to the knowledge of Jesus Christ through activities within the church & Discovery Groups (homegroups with an evangelistic spirit); welcome the seeker; equip the believer; teach the word; illustrate God's blessings through testimony; and guide our members into the harvest fields.
